Arts Editor's Note: An article in the October 2004 New York Stringer Magazine (Composers Circle, by Stephen Leibholz) described the purposes and activities of The New York Composers Circle, an organization that nurtures new music. The following announces their first concert of the 2004-2005 season:

On Thursday, February 10, 2005, 8 p.m., the New York Composers Circle will present a concert at CAMI Hall (165 West 57th Street atSeventh Avenue).  The Circle is proud to feature Alaria (Yuri Vodovoz, violin; Diliana Momtchilova, cello; and Nancy Garniez, piano) now celebrating its 21st year.  Alaria will be joined byCarolyn Halsted (piano), Phred Mileski (soprano), Ana Milosavljevic (violin), Eric Nowlin (viola) and Javier Oviedo (saxophone). 

The ensemble will perform a variety of new music by New York area composers Richard Brooks, Donald Hagar, Fedor Kabalin, Patricia Leonard, Eugene Marlow, Christopher Montgomery, Richard Russell and Caesar Vuksic. 

Suggested donation: $15.
